These are
various pictures from the entire thing, not in any order really.
Some of them are from the day after Halloween, and are missing a few
items or things got blown over. Click on the picture for a larger

On the picture to the left,
you can see behind Uncle Rob, I fashioned a backdrop to serve 2
purposes: to keep kids from walking through there and tripping
over the electrical cords, and to hid myself when I wanted to scare
someone. It's drooping in the picture, but on Halloween night, it
was nice and straight and you couldn't see me through it, there was also
some burlap covering the black plastic. I scared the tar out of a
few people by jumping out through the splits in the plastic. |
Several things went wrong
with the witches this year. The main thing was that when Andy set
the fog machine up behind them, he accidentally had the fog machine too
close to the wires from the lights and the turntable and the metal piece
on the front of the fogger burned through the wires and shorted
everything on that outlet out. Luckily, we got it fixed and at
least got the lights and fogger working. |

Poor Grim took a beating
before Halloween. I repainted him and everything, giving him a
double coat of DryLok and a nice new better paint job. Then the
next day, he fell over and cracked in several places. Then he fell
over a few more times. I just left him on the ground after a
while. It was just too windy. I'll just have to rebuild him.
Only better. Stronger. |
